Mount Carmel has a rich history of supporting several missionaries around the globe. Our missions team has the responsibility of connecting with and making decisions regarding fund disbursements to those we support. Periodically one of our missions partners is in the area and provides it opportunity for us to meet and get to know them. One of the missionaries who will be visiting with us this year is Pino Neglia.

Following his arrival from Italy this week, our friend and missionary partner, Pino Neglia will be with us this Sunday, October 23 for both morning services. It is always a joy to have Pino with us and to witness his overwhelming passion, infectious personality, and genuine love for the Lord. A lunch meet and greet is scheduled for Sunday immediately following our second service. For more information on attending this lunch gathering with Pino please click on this link. Pino is a native of Lecce, Italy, a town of about 125,000 in the heel of the boot of southern Italy. In addition to his church in Lecce Pino’s main work is leadership development and the organization of an annual conference for all Christian churches in Italy. He also has a ministry among a large number of immigrants in southeast Italy. This mission has expanded its work to two church plants across the Adriatic Sea to Albania. During his time in the United States, Pino will be participating in ICOM (International Conference On Missions) in Columbus, November 2-5.

The International Conference on Missions is a conference of global missionaries that churches like Mount Carmel support. The conference consists of Main Tent sessions, breakout sessions, and a trade show and exhibition hall. This is a great opportunity to get to know about missions activities that the Christian Church in general supports. Since the conference is in Columbus this year, Mount Carmel has made it easy for you to attend. We have purchased tickets for the entire congregation to attend. Please visit our website for instructions on how to register.
