GriefShare

Starting February 27th | 6:30pm-8:00pm

If you are suffering through grief, this is the group that will come around and support you.

Embrace Grace

Starting July 31 | 6:30pm-8:00pm

Embrace Grace, our ministry to single pregnant women, bridges the gap by easing the fear and uncertainty of an unplanned pregnancy and connects them to a support system to help them be brave. These brave mamas become part of a spiritual family within the church that provides practical, spiritual and emotional help.

Affinity Groups

Homeschool Group

Every other Wednesday | 1:30pm (Paused until the school year starts back up)

This group is for families who attend Mount Carmel and are currently homeschooling (if you’re considering homeschooling, feel free to drop in or reach out with questions!). Meeting bi-weekly throughout the year, we’ll have fun activities and games for the kids, group outings/field trips, and opportunities for fellowship and connection for parents and caregivers. We’d love for you to join us and meet your fellow Mount Carmel homeschoolers!

Overseas Missions Response Group

First Monday Of The Month | 6:30pm-8:00pm

This group will focus on supporting our overseas missionaries through prayer, hosting, and visiting them. The group is responsible for our direction in the area of global missions.

This evening small group service is for our high school students who want to dig deeper into God’s word, hang out with other students, and have a good time together!

Groups Minister

I’ve been married to my amazing wife Becky for over 40 years (I definitely “married up”!). We have a daughter who is a screenwriter in Hollywood and a son who is a professional musician in Nashville. I have an undergrad degree from Ozark Christian College and a Masters from Cincinnati Christian Seminary. I’ve been in the ministry for over 40 years, but the most recent 20+ years have been devoted to developing small groups in large churches.  I love to see folks getting together in groups to study the Bible and get involved in each others’ lives!
