One of my favorite things to do… is to do just about anything with my family. I love spending time with my family. Whether it’s getting things done around the house, going for a hike, a trip to the park, or anything else, it’s better when it’s done with family.

That’s the heart behind our all-church study, Faithful. We desired to create a study that our church family could participate in, together. Because, well, things are better done when they’re done together.

Faithful is a study that we created with the whole church in mind. From our younger kids to our middle school and high school students, to the adult level we will all be working through the same biblical stories and life applications each week. The truth is that we really have a limited amount of time that we spend together on a weekly basis on Sunday mornings. No matter how impactful the worship music is, no matter how impactful the sermon might be, no matter how impactful the Children’s and Student Ministries are, it’s still a very limited amount of time. For each of us to continue to grow in our faith, and in the discovery of our amazing God, we must spend more time learning and in worship, than just one hour, one time a week.

Our goal with our Faithful series and study is to provide the people of Mount Carmel a deeper dive into scripture and the truth found in it, the truth that still very much applies to us today. Mount Carmel has some truly creative and talented people that have helped make this study possible. They’ve poured their insight, knowledge, talent, and heart into this study.

So, whether you’re participating in this study with your family, or working through this study with your small group or on an individual basis, our prayer is that it adds an extra dose of encouragement as you seek to remain faithful to a God who is always faithful.

We invite you to join us in our Faithful all-church study. If you haven’t already, feel free to pick up a copy of the study at the table in the foyer.

God Bless,
Aaron Adams
