25-40 Year Old Group Interest Lunch

Starting March 6 | 6:30pm-8:00pm

1st and 3rd Thursday each month

If you’re 25-40 and looking to make connections, but the young adult groups and the young couples groups don’t feel like a fit, we’d be glad to have you visit our new 25-40 singles group! Every Tuesday Evening

This group consists of couples and singles of any age. Meets In Amelia. Child Care Is Not Provided.

This is a fun-loving group for individuals and couples aged 50+. Meets at Mount Carmel.

Thursdays | 7pm-9pm

Women’s Study | The Power of the Holy Spirit -Tony Evans

Feb 19-April 16 | Wednesday Evenings | 6:30pm-8:00pm | 8 Week Study

This study helps to identify, explain, and illustrate the work of the Holy Spirit through the descriptions of His names and shows believers how to relate to the person of the Holy Spirit and the importance of acknowledging His presence. Meets at Mount Carmel. Child Care Not Provided.

Life After Loss (Formerly GriefShare)

6 Week Group | Tuesday Evenings 6:30pm-8:oopm

If you are experiencing a low season of life due to loss, Life After Loss (formerly GriefShare) is just for you. Meet with others who are grieving because of loss and receive encouragement from Scripture. Meets at Mount Carmel.

Affinity Groups

Homeschool Group

Every other Wednesday | 1:30pm

This group is for families who attend Mount Carmel and are currently homeschooling (if you’re considering homeschooling, feel free to drop in or reach out with questions!). Meeting bi-weekly throughout the year, we’ll have fun activities and games for the kids, group outings/field trips, and opportunities for fellowship and connection for parents and caregivers. We’d love for you to join us and meet your fellow Mount Carmel homeschoolers!

Middle School Girls  Bible Study

This evening small group is for our middle school girls who want to dig deeper into God’s word, hang out with other students, and have a good time together!

Groups Minister

I’ve been married to my amazing wife Becky for over 40 years (I definitely “married up”!). We have a daughter who is a screenwriter in Hollywood and a son who is a professional musician in Nashville. I have an undergrad degree from Ozark Christian College and a Masters from Cincinnati Christian Seminary. I’ve been in the ministry for over 40 years, but the most recent 20+ years have been devoted to developing small groups in large churches.  I love to see folks getting together in groups to study the Bible and get involved in each others’ lives!
