Easter At Mount Carmel
Easter week at Mount Carmel is always special, and this year is going to be no different. Here’s how you can get plugged into what’s going on this week.
On Good Friday, we will offer an outdoor Good Friday experience at 6:00 p.m. led by Didi Bacon. There will be worship, scripture, communion, message, and an opportunity for you to reflect at the cross. We’ll have chairs set out, but you may wish to bring a lawn chair if you want to sit on the lawn or near the cross for prayer and reflection. We will be streaming this service, and if you want to participate online, you might wish to have paper, pen, crackers, and grape juice available. You’ll be ready to then participate in the full experience.
On Easter morning, we will have services at 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11 a.m. Each service will be identical and will be held on campus and streamed. If you aren’t bringing first-time visitors, please consider attending the 8:00 a.m. service, as the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services tend to be very crowded. We will be serving a light breakfast of bagels, donuts, and a few other items before the 8:00 a.m. service.
Student Ministry will be having 2 services, one at 9:30 a.m. and the other at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be an interactive experience walking through various stations of Holy Week in the Student Center. All middle school and high school students are invited to participate.
Holiday seasons can be a tough time for some. If you or a member of your family needs prayer support during this season, you can let us know by filling out our prayer and connect form. Your prayer request will be forwarded to our staff, elders and prayer team.
If you have questions about any of our services or events, you can send an email to office@mountcarmel.cc or give us a call at 513-528-0230.
It is our hope that you and your family have a wonderful Easter weekend!
Blessings –
