Eyes Eyes Ears Ears | If – then wisdom’s promise
By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place;
20 by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. Proverbs 3:19-20 (NIV)
IF _____ THEN ____
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
IF you take God’s wisdom to heart THEN you will live well and prosper
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
IF you commit to godliness THEN you will have the favor of God and others
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
IF you wholeheartedly trust the Lord THEN you will succeed in life
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.8 It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones.
IF you are not arrogant and honor God THEN you will be durable through life
9 Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce;10 So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.
IF you give first to God THEN will you be blessed with the wealth you need
