Mount Carmel Mission Trip | Operation Helene Recovery

Loading Events

Each summer, we step out in faith to serve communities in need—and this year is no different. We’re heading to Johnson City, Tennessee, to partner with IDES (International Disaster Emergency Services) and assist in rebuilding homes destroyed by Hurricane Helene in 2024.

From construction to cleanup, we’ll have a wide range of projects that require all kinds of hands. Whether you’re skilled with tools or simply ready to serve wherever needed, there’s a place for you on this team. No experience necessary—just a willing heart and a desire to make a difference.

The place we are staying (Rise Up) needs a lot of work! This is the central location where families and kids can serve. The other main jobs we are working at are house building sites, where the minimum age to work at those sites is 16 years old.

Kids under the age of 18 will need an assigned adult to supervise for the duration of the trip.

Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus to a community still recovering and in need of hope. We can’t wait to see how God will use this trip to impact lives—both theirs and ours.

Sign up today and be part of something meaningful. We need YOU!

If you are unable to afford the trip but would still like to attend, please contact dmartinez@mountcarmel.cc
