The Happy Church in Jackson, KY is a continual mission partner with us here at Mount Carmel. This past summer they were once again devasted by rising flood waters. These floodwaters significantly damaged the Happy Church campus, as well as affecting so many of their church members and the surrounding community. Mount Carmel is assisting the Happy Church in its recovery efforts in various ways. As a church, we’ve identified and “adopted” a few of the Happy Church families that were significantly impacted. Many of these families lost their entire homes and all of their belongings. They are truly starting over. We’ve created opportunities for Mount Carmel and its small groups and classes to bless these families and help them get back on their feet again. We will be collecting household items, as well as clothes of various sizes. Please note, that the donated items need to be gently used and in good condition or new.
