Embrace Grace, our ministry to single pregnant women, is a beacon of hope that bridges the gap by easing the fear and uncertainty of an unplanned pregnancy. It connects these women to a support system that helps them be brave. The brave mamas who join us become part of a spiritual family within the church, receiving practical, spiritual, and emotional help that transforms their lives.
We will begin our fourth semester on July 31. Twenty women have gone through our 11-week program, hearing the Good News about Jesus and receiving a baby shower after completing it. We now also have monthly get-togethers for all of our mamas to keep them connected to the church and each other.
Our Mount Carmel volunteers have made this ministry possible. We always have ongoing volunteer opportunities, such as the ones listed below:
• Pray for Embrace Grace, the leaders and participants
• Deliver dinner to the church on Wednesday evening
• Host a monthly get-together (provide light snacks and stay to hang out with our moms and babies)
• Attend the baby shower
• Purchase baby shower gifts from our Amazon gift list
