Well, we are halfway through 2023! This is a time that I like to do some review, reflection, and recalibration. Part of this process involves looking back at the books I have read. Here is a list of the books that I have found particularly helpful.
- Building a Story Brand – Clarify your message so customers will listen by Donald Miller.
- Green Leaf in Drought by Isobel Kuhn. The story of escape of the last China Inland Mission members, Arthur and Wilda Mathews, from Communist China in 1953.
- Made to Stick – Why some ideas survive and others die by Chip Head and Dan Heath.
- The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith.
- A Non-Anxious Presence – How a changing and complex world will create a remnant of renewed Christian leaders by Mark Sayers
- The Power to Bless – How to speak life and empower the people you love by Alan Wright.
- Finishing Our Course With Joy – Guidance from God for engaging with our aging by J.I. Packer.
- From Strength to Strength – Finding success, happiness and deep purpose in the second half of life by Arthur C. Brooks.
- These are not listed them in any particular order. If you want to talk about them, feel free to reach out to me.
God bless,
Didi
